Welcome and come on in - we're live!
Hello again and welcome to my blog! After months of preparation we are finally off to the races.
I will be writing to you on a regular basis with a mixture of advice, Q&A, stories and observations. If you want to ask me a question, just fill in the form just on the right there. If you have any other enquiries, you can always use the form on the Contact page.
Of course, I also look forward to chatting with you via Comments, so do please give me your feedback and stories by adding a Comment whenever you feel you have something you'd like to say.
I also hope to be adding shortly some short video demonstrations as well as some longer audio pieces that you can download to your iPods or MP3 players. All of this technology is fairly new to me but I'm keen to reach out and connect with as many of you as possible.
For those of you who don't know me, you can read a brief biography of me on the About page. Of course, for a full story about my younger life with horses and particularly about my education under the tutelage of a herd of wild horses, you should read my book "Naked Liberty", it's really good! ;o)
** By the way, you can get the Prologue of the book and several other chapters by subscribing to my blog via email **
The tag line for the Method I have developed is: The Foundation for all Equestrian Pursuits. My focus is on horse training and communication with horses to develop better leadership skills. I would like to develop a horsemanship school in my Method. It would be a school of 1-day, 3-day, weekly, monthly and yearly programs in getting back to nature, meditation, art, poetry, music, photography, reading, writing, history, all on the subject of horses as well as dressage and bridleless riding.
The formula and application of my Method is how I believe we should educate our children in school. That is the reason I developed my Method and of course to train horses in an enjoyable way for the horse. Most other methods are only interested in not abusing the horse. They do not work in the connection or make the training experience for the horse to be life enhancing. My Method does and that is the message I would like to spread.
I'll write to you again later this week with a story about my first job outside of my home town. Till then, all best wishes
